Currency

It has come to my attention we actually don't ever hear the name of a currency in game; If anyone has any leads, please tell me about it, it may come in handy later on.

For now propositions for money names are as follow:

-Dollars 

The explanation contails spoilers for the epilogue!:

-Coins (gold, silver, copper)
Just like in any sort of fantasy setting pretty much.

-Lira 
The old Italian money, since the English translation of the game seems to use a lot of italian words. Also it fits the whole idea of the mafia.

-A completely made up one
Just one we'd completely make up, with its custom name and values.

Frankly, I have no idea. I guess dollar is pretty generic. We can use that.

The reasoning regarding using dollars makes sense, I'll go for that.

I think using dollars would be the best thing, since its a well known currency.

Since the majority seems to agree on dollars, I'll add a small something on that in our lore/information thread

I know it's already decided, but I think gold/silver/copper coins could work really well too! also a very common currency in fantasy-esque worlds.

dollar works too though, I just thought wasn't sure if that technology was available in this town. or people might be like, "Who is this old guy on this here dollar bill?" xD haha. plus, the value of paper money is backed up by valuables like gold and silver anyways, so coins might just be easiest.

They used coins in a rp before, it's mostly just to give it a name; I believe it wouldn't be too odd to have them just call the currency dollars, but use traditional coins

(also I don't know if the 2cents pun was intended but I liked it. As a Dad-Jokes enthusiast, I had to tell you )
