[Town Wide Event]Meteor Shower Gathering

Since our first event went well, it's about time we started our second one.

It will work in a similar way to the other ; a subforum for the event was created in the town plaza>events forum.

You may post anything you'd like relating to the event there. We'll open it up to posts one week before the event itself starts, so you may roleplay any sort of preparations you'd like for it.

The day the event start, I'll be making a thread which is where everyone may join and mingle ; however, you are free to start your own private roleplays there too.

You will then have ten days to start threads and roleplay it, after what the event will be considered over ; however, if you'd like to wrap up threads, and while there is still some interest in the event, you'll be allowed to post replies. You just won't be able to create new threads.


Again, while the event is not mandatory, since it's an event where everyone generally goes, we'd appreciate having some good IC reason as to why they're absent.

Event Summary :

Every year during this specific evening, a meteor shower takes place ; it's said that making a wish then will have it granted. It's the biggest celebration in town, where everyone deems the light of their houses to go out in the dark and enjoy the sighs of the sky.

Stalls are installed all around, and people may buy all sort of special food or participate in activities and games offered on the festival ground.

It is considered to be a very romantic event, where many people tend to go with a date. Girls believe confessing on that date will make your couple last forever in a happy marriage. All sort of superstitions are linked to it and romance, making the ladies of town especially fond of the festival.
